CW1198 Armoured Telephone Cable
CW1128/1198 armoured telephone cables are used for external connection of telephone systems and other communications equipment where the added protection of steel wire armouring is needed. This cable is ideally suited for direct burial.
CW1128/1198 outer sheath is made from tough, durable polyethylene or external grade PVC which is UV and sunlight resistant. The cores are bedded in petroleum jelly to protect against the ingress of moisture.

This external grade armoured telephone cable is available in 2, 5, 10, 20, 30, 50 or 100 pair versions, in either 0.5mm or 0.9mm conductor sizes.

Solid plain copper conductor, colour coded polyethylene insulation, petroleum jelly filled, separator tape, polyethylene bedding, galvanised steel wire armour and a black polyethylene or external grade PVC sheath.

Manufactured to British Telecom Specification CW1308, CW1308 telephone cables are used for internal connection of telephone systems and other communications equipment.
Insulated and sheathed in PVC, CW1308 internal telephone cables offer an extremely cost effective general signal cable for fixed installation. Standard cable sheath colour is white although some sizes are available with a black or grey PVC sheath.

CW1600 Telephone Cable

CW1600 LSHF limited fire hazard telephone cable is similar in design and application to CW1308 but with the addition of an aluminium foil screen and Low Smoke Halogen Free (LSHF) cores and sheath. This range of cables is also compliant to the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), having been tested and approved in the UK by a notified body.
